Version 1.0 - September 8, 2026
Licensor: DANIEL HENRIQUE MOURÃO FALCI DESENVOLVIMENTO DE SOFTWARE LTDA., CNPJ 55.073.754/0001-63, Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil (“we”, “us”). Contact: contato@dcodertools.com
In short
- Purchases are made through Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle takes the payment, issues the invoice, handles the taxes and processes any refund.
- You may cancel at any time. Your license keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for, and the rest of that period is not refunded.
- Your statutory rights stand: 14 days to withdraw in the European Union and the United Kingdom, 7 days under article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Code - with the caveat about immediate delivery in section 3.
- If we discontinue the software, you get at least 60 days’ notice and a pro-rata refund of what you prepaid for the period after that.
- Refunds are paid by Paddle to the payment method you used.
1. Who sells, and who refunds
Subscriptions to dcoder-terminal are sold by Paddle.com Market Limited and its affiliates (“Paddle”), acting as the merchant of record. Your order is a transaction with Paddle: its Buyer Terms and its Refund Policy govern the purchase, the payment, the invoice, the taxes and any refund, and every refund is issued by Paddle.
This page says how that works for dcoder-terminal. It does not replace Paddle’s policy or our license agreement (www.dcodertools.com/terms); where this page and Paddle’s policy differ about the purchase itself, Paddle’s policy is the one that governs it.
2. Cancelling a subscription
You may cancel at any time, from the account area on this website or through Paddle. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it is not by itself a refund request.
Your license stays in force until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and the software stops opening after that. Fees already paid for that period are not refunded, except where the law or Paddle’s refund policy requires it (section 2.5 of the license agreement).
Subscriptions renew automatically, so a renewal you did not cancel in time is charged for the new period. Paddle may still grant a refund at its discretion; ask through the channels in section 6.
If your price was designated as locked when you bought - the founding price, for example - it stays locked only while that subscription remains continuously active. A subscription started again after a lapse takes the price in force at that time (section 2.4 of the license agreement).
3. Your statutory rights
Nothing here removes a right the law gives you.
European Union and United Kingdom. As a consumer you have 14 days to withdraw from the purchase. dcoder-terminal is digital content delivered immediately. By completing the purchase you agree, under Paddle’s Buyer Terms, to that immediate delivery and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal is lost once delivery begins. If you have downloaded, activated or used the software within those 14 days, the withdrawal right no longer applies.
Brazil. Under article 49 of the Consumer Protection Code (Código de Defesa do Consumidor), a consumer who buys outside a physical shop may give up the purchase within 7 days of the contract or of receiving the product, and be repaid the amounts paid.
Elsewhere. Where local consumer law grants a comparable right, that right applies. Paddle’s refund policy lists the withdrawal periods it recognises by country.
4. If we discontinue the software
If we discontinue dcoder-terminal or the licensing service, we give at least 60 days’ notice and refund, pro rata, the fees you prepaid covering the period after the discontinuation. That refund is your sole remedy in that case (section 14.3 of the license agreement).
5. If we terminate for breach or fraud
If we terminate your license because you breached the license agreement or attempted fraud or tampering with the licensing mechanisms, no refund is due, except where the law requires one (section 14.2 of the license agreement).
6. How to ask for a refund
Either way works:
- Go to paddle.net, Paddle’s buyer support site, and choose “Request refund”; or use the “View receipt” and “Manage subscription” links in the e-mail Paddle sent you when you paid. Use the e-mail address of the order.
- Or write to contato@dcodertools.com from the e-mail address on your subscription, saying what you bought and why. We answer and, where a refund is due, ask Paddle to issue it.
Paddle repays to the original payment method. How long the money takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product or the law changes. The current version and its date are always published at www.dcodertools.com/refunds. A change does not affect a purchase already made under the version in force at the time.
